Sharon is very active in the community. She serves on the Executive Board of the Lorain County Chamber of Commerce. She was a member of the Oberlin City Council for 6 years, and previously worked as a City employee for the City of Oberlin for 25 years. During that time, she has received numerous awards for her civic engagement from the local Chamber of Commerce, now known as the Oberlin Business Partnership. Sharon also served as the Lorain County Mobility Manager at United Way of Greater Lorain County.
